Forest Green Rovers are far more than just your average football club. They go above and beyond off the pitch with their environmental mindset, making them recognised by FIFA and the United Nations as the worlds greenest football club.
The carbon-neutral football club look at all actions through their eco-lens. Everything from the vegan food they serve their fans in the innocent Stadium to the bamboo shin-pads each player wears – it’s all part of their journey to become completely carbon-neutral.
And we absolutely love this.
Which is why we want to take their mission one step further. Connecting fans together, to travel to and from games with the aim to reunite fans and communities like never before.
All while being carbon negative – planting a tree for every 3 rides, making each and every SKOOT journey 110% carbon negative.
The Partnership
Being the world’s only carbon negative Errand and Lift App, we share the same ethos as the club, with a mission to enable people to travel together and help each other in a safe and carbon-negative way, all at the click of a button.
As the end of lockdown isn’t far away, we can start to look forward to life slowly going back to normal. From next week the government are starting to unveil the road map out of lockdown and hopefully fans can start entering the stadium to attend games in the not-so-distant future.
This partnership comes at such an exciting time, not only because the end of lockdown is in sight and we can start to look forward to fans getting back under the floodlights. But also, because it’s never been more important to be conscious of your carbon footprint.
